Kaanoge is based on the lines of a Falmouth Quay Punt. She was built as a yacht by T.Jackett of Falmouth in 1914 for Dr N.C.Penrose, and designed by W.Jackett.

Malcolm McKeand owns Kaanoge now and has restored her to an open day boat, removing the coachroof that had been added in the late 1950’s. The recent work I carried out on Kaanoge was to replace the top two strakes on the port side and a dozen or so frames, fit a T&G bulkhead closing off the fo’c’sle and install new seats.
